New poster for Exists, the bigfoot horror genre film directed by Eduardo Sanchez, a director known for co-directing with Daniel Myrick The Blair Witch Project in 1999. Also notable is his fantasy-horror Altered 2006 to which other genre films were added including. Lovely Molly (2011) e A Ride in the Park, a segment of the horror anthology V/H/S/2 (2013).
The screenplay of Exists is by Jamie Nash, who has previously collaborated with Sanchez on the above titles, while the cast includes Dora Madison Burge, Samuel Davis, Roger Edwards, Chris Osborn and Denise Williamson. Bigfoot is played by Brian Steele, a U.S. actor known for playing monster roles such as one of the predators in Predators (2010), Sammael in Hellboy, a Lycan in Underworld...
The plot of Exists is as follows: five friends decide to spend the weekend camping in the Big Thicket forest located in southeast Texas. What wrecks the dream of a carefree summer vacation is a car accident, but that's not all. Their presence will unleash the wrath of a dangerous creature that lives on site and that everyone thought was an urban legend. The group of vacationers will try hard to survive its ferocity, looking mostly for ways to leave the forest.
This year Exists (USA - 2014) was presented at SXSW. The theatrical and VOD release date is scheduled for October 24, 2014.
