The new teaser trailer and poster for E.N.D. - The Movie, a project involving two well-known directors of Italian independent cinema: Federico Greco (The mystery of Lovecraft - Road to L., Liver, Nuit Americhèn, Angelika) and Domitian Christopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Doll Syndrome, Red Krokodil...).
E.N.D. - The Movie is a zombie movie composed of three interconnected segments whose story takes place over a time span of about ten years. Giving this interesting zombie project its title is the acronym for the chemical compound impure cocaine (E.N.D.) that is the cause of the contagion and thus the epidemic.
E.N.D. (Day Zero) is the title of the first episode made in 2012. The segment was written and directed by Luke Alexander (director of the episode "Dream Door" of The Pyramid) and by Allegra Bernardoni. Federico Greco himself appears in the cast and was also responsible for editing, cinematography and production of the film.
E.N.D. focuses on the origin of the epidemic and what happens inside an Italian funeral home where the owner, the hearses driver and the tanatoesthetist will be forced to deal with the zombies threat.
The cast of this first segment consists of Antonio Bilo Canella, Francesco Sannicandro, Federico Greco, Marco Di Stefano, Francesca Antonucci, Giuseppe Ragone, Ilaria Baiocco and Fabrizio Di Giorgio.
Reveniens (Day #1466), the second episode, is directed by Domiziano Cristopharo for a script by Antonio Tentori.
Five years have passed since the start of the infection, and the world is now overrun by the living dead. The presence of zombies will force a man and a woman to find refuge inside an isolated house in the woods. The situation will become complicated when the girl, who is pregnant, tries to give birth to the baby.
The cast includes Wayne Abbruscato, Aurora Kostova (Doll Syndrome) and Alvia Reale.
Music is by Antony Coia.
The concluding segment, Z-Sapiens (Day #2333), is directed by Federico Greco and will deal with post-apocalyptic scenarios of a world now in ruins. It has been 10 years since the outbreak and the zombies have evolved while the survivors are now ready to carry out any havoc, even sacrificing the weakest in their community, in order to survive.
The cast includes Francesco Sannicandro, Francesca Antonucci, Alessio Cherubini, Antonio Bilo Canella, Daniele Della Sala, Giò Di Colore, Simone Della Torre and Francesca Di Vincenzo.
