From December 21 to 22, 2018 will be held in Camporosso "The shortest day", a review of genre films and shorts featuring a collaboration between the The Optical Theatre Film Festival, DarkVeins, The Corto In Spiaggia - Short Film Festival, City of Camporosso and Innovation Studio. Admission is free.
During the event, a series of feature and short films will be screened in original language and/or with subtitles, including the best selections from the DarkVeins Horror Fest 2018 and from theOptical Theatre Horror Film Festival 2018. In the days to come, the screenings will be made official with the list of scheduled films.
The current edition of the DarkVeins Horror Fest 2018, currently in its final stages, will be concluded by early December when all winners will be announced.
Recall that this edition enjoys two important new features. The first is undoubtedly the participation in the jury of Joel Rizzo and Erica Salvatore, the administrators of Celluloid Nightmares.
The partnerships, however, do not end there because starting with this edition, all the films in competition will be evaluated by a new distributor that is entering the UK and Italian markets for the first time.
This new independent horror distribution house devoted to underground and extreme cinema will be publicly presented in late 2018 and early 2019 with a first series of juicy Deluxe Collector's Editions that will win acclaim not only in the foreign market but also in Italy.
