The film is currently in post-production and is expected to be released in early 2018.
In particular, space is given in this Swedish horror film to the "Draug," an undead creature with magical gifts who, driven by envy and greed, walks after death. These eerie creatures of Nordic floklore leave their graves at night to visit the living, rendering them insane before drinking their blood and devouring their flesh.
Plot: Sweden, 11th century. A missionary has disappeared in the sinister forest of Ödmården, and the king sends a rescue party to search for him. Among the soldiers is Nanna (Elna Karlsson), a young woman on her first mission who, orphaned at an early age, was raised by the ruler's guard. Once she enters the dense forest with the other warriors, she will discover that the place is home to chilling and dark presences...
