Dracula Untold (2014 - United States), the new film about Dracula, will land in Italian theaters on Oct. 30 and will also be available in 3D format thanks to Universal Pictures.
The film is directed by Gary Shore, a director known only for The Draft, a short film in the horror genre that he himself produced.
Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless handled the screenplay inspired by Bram Stoker's famous work. Specifically, Dracula Untold tells the story of why Vlad became Dracula.
Luke Evans (No One Lives), will play Vlad III Prince of Wallachia, a Romanian warrior who decides to join the world of darkness to protect his family and to help his army defeat the Turkish army. Vlad attains a dark creature that gives him extraordinary powers and turns him into a vampire or rather Dracula. Only then can Vlad drive out the enemy whose plan is to use Romania as the first stage of an invasion that would also involve Europe.
Of the cast of Dracula Untold Luke Evans, Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper, Samantha Barks, Zach McGowan, Charlie Cox, William Houston, Ronan Vibert, Diarmaid Murtagh, Joseph Long, and Noah Huntley are in it. Photography is by John Schwartzman.
Dracula Untold was previously titled Dracula Year Zero and initially the role of Dracula was given to Sam Worthington.
