Diretto da Rodrigo Cortés (Buried - Sepolto, Red Lights), Down a Dark Hall è basato sull'omonimo best-seller per ragazzi scritto da Lois Duncan nel 1974 ed esordirà nei cinema statunitensi il 17 agosto 2018. La sceneggiatura del film è stata scritta da Michael Goldbach e Chris Sparling (Buried - Sepolto, ATM - Trappola mortale).
Plot: Kit Gordy (AnnaSophia Robb) is one of the new students at the prestigious Blackwood Boarding School. However, she soon realizes that something strange is happening within the school walls. In addition to the mysterious headmistress (Uma Thurman), the young girl will have to deal with the paranormal phenomena that occur within the walls of Blackwood.
