Produced by Blumhouse Productions in collaboration with Platinum Dunes and Universal Pictures, The night of judgment forever is the fifth and final chapter in the saga that began in 2013 with The Purge and continued with the sequels Anarchy - Judgment Night (2014) and Judgment Night - Election Year (2016). In 2018, however, the prequel The first night of judgment.
The night of judgment forever è diretto da Everardo Gout (Days of Grace) e arriverà nelle sale italiane l'8 luglio.
The story takes place after the events of the 2016 film and features Adela (Ana de la Reguera) and her husband Juan (Tenoch Huerta), two young people who, having escaped the Mexican cartel, find refuge on a Texas ranch owned by the Tuckers, a family that will create problems for them.
La situazione peggiorerà quando, nonostante la notte dello Sfogo sia terminata all'alba, un gruppo di assassini mascherati continuerà a infrangere ancora qualsiasi regola. La gang attaccherà i Tucker costringendo le due famiglie ad allearsi per combattere mentre il Paese precipita nel caos.
The cast includes Ana de la Reguera, Leven Rambin, Will Patton, Cassidy Freeman and Tenoch Huerta.
The screenplay for this new chapter is by James DeMonaco, the creator of the franchise The Purge as well as the screenwriter of the other chapters and the director of the first three.
