Warner Bros has released, online, a new clip from Don't Worry Darling, the psychological thriller directed by actress-director Olivia Wilde, here directing her second feature film.
The film stars Florence Pugh (Midsommar - Village of the Damned) and will arrive in Italian theaters on September 22.
Trama: anni '50. Alice (Florence Pugh) è una casalinga che vive con il marito Jack (Harry Styles) in una comunità sperimentale, isolata e utopica, conducendo un’esistenza idilliaca, insieme ad altre famiglie felici. Qui vige il concetto di ottimismo sociale, tipico di quel decennio, portato avanti da Frank (Chris Pine), l’amministratore delegato. Apparentemente la vita è perfetta e ogni bisogno del residente viene prontamente soddisfatto dall’azienda in cambio dell’impegno lavorativo e della discrezione sul progetto in atto. Ben presto però Alice inizierà a sospettare che, sotto l’apparenza, si nasconda una terribile realtà.
The screenplay of Don't Worry Darling is by Shane, Carey Van Dyke and Katie Silberman while Roy Lee (IT, The Ring) of Vertigo Entertainment appears in the production of the film along with Olivia Wilde and Katie Silberman.
Also in the cast are Harry Styles, Chris Pine (Unstoppable - Out of Control), Dakota Johnson (Suspiria - 2018), Olivia Wilde herself, and Dita von Teese, the famous American burlesque showgirl/costumier.
