Let's go back to talking about Don't Look in the Basement 2 (USA - 2016) regarding its home video release. This is the sequel to Don't look in the basement (aka Don't Look in the Basement), the thriller-horror film that S.F. Brownrigg directed in 1973.
In charge of the sequel is the aforementioned director's son namely Anthony Brownrigg.
Don't Look in the Basement 2 is already available for video on demand (Amazon Prime, Itunes, Google Play, Xbox, PSN, Vudu) and in DVD and Blu-ray editions (a special edition with two discs and containing the 1973 film) thanks to LeglessCorpse Films.
Anthony Brownrigg wanted to continue the story of Don't look in the basement e, per creare un legame fra i due capitoli, non solo ha utilizzato quasi tutte le stesse location del primo capitolo ma ha voluto nel cast anche Camilla Carr, l'attrice che nel film del 1973 ha interpretato Harriet (una delle pazienti dell’istituto).
Trama: Sam Withers (Willie H. Minor Jr.), l’unico sopravvissuto alla strage avvenuta nell’ospedale psichiatrico Stephens Sanitarium avvenuta nel 1972, ritorna nuovamente nell’istituto dopo quarant'anni dall'accaduto. La sua presenza però scatenerà una serie di eventi disturbanti e sanguinolenti.
Anthony Brownrigg co-wrote the screenplay for the film with Megan Emerick. The latter is also part of the cast as she plays nurse Jennifer. The names of the other actors are: Willie H. Minor Jr., Andrew Sensenig (We are still here), Arianne Margot, Frank Mosley, Jim O'Rear, and Scott Tepperman.
