New doll movie for Dustin Mills (Night of the Tentacles, Bath Salt Zombies, Kill that Bitch), an American director who in 2010 directed The Puppet Monster Massacre, a film in which the main characters are puppets who coexist normally with humans.
This time Dustin Mills focuses on a snuff movie whose peculiarity lies in having included in the cast still dolls that in Snuffet Will be "tortured" to "death" by a human maniac. The official trailer for Snuffet gives an idea of what the viewer will be confronted with: talking puppets (also equipped with genitalia) that will be tortured, shot, and quartered by the serial doll killer.
In Snuffet in fact, a masked maniac kidnaps fetishes to film as he tortures and kills them. The poor victims will beg their tormentor for mercy but nothing will stop the psychopath from making them cry, bleed and die.
Snuffet has been called the "first puppet snuff film" by the director himself, and from what can be seen in the video it looks like it.
Dustin Mills in fact has created a new genre alongside the evil doll genre unlike which, however, the puppets are the victims and not evil toys.
In the cast of Snuffet in addition to the dolls are Brandon Salkil as the maniac and Janet Jay who plays the psychopathic killer's companion.
Snuffet is scheduled for distribution this summer.
