Full Moon Features has announced Doctor Death, the new spin-off of Puppet Master, a cult saga created by Charles Band. The new chapter will arrive in 2021 and will be dedicated to the puppet Doktor Death, a character who appeared in Retro Puppet Master, prequel to Puppet Master III – Toulon's Revenge, in which the old puppeteer tells his puppets about his youth.
The direction was entrusted to John Lechago, the director of the recent Blade: The Iron Cross (2019), the first spin-off of the franchise.
Doctor Death is one of the dolls built by Andre Toulon and is possessed by the soul of Duval Robinson, one of the man's friends. With a skeletal appearance, the surgeon puppet is armed with medical instruments that, in addition to cutting flesh, can be used to open doors and pick locks.
