Almost 30 years after Splatters - The Splatters (Braindead) actress Diana Peñalver got involved in another delirious horror comedy. It is about The Nanny's Night, a Spanish film marking the directorial debut of Ignacio López, who also wrote the screenplay in collaboration with Pedro Rivero.
Recall that in the New Zealand cult film directed by Peter Jackson in 1992, Diana Peñalver played Paquita Maria Sánchez, a role that gave her notoriety.
In The Nanny's Night, Diana Peñalver will reprise the very character that made her famous-that of Paquita Maria Sánchez, the shopgirl in love with Lionel Cosgrove (Timothy Balme).

Produced by Artistic Films and Panic in Frames, The Nanny's Night is currently being filmed in Madrid and is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
