Online the trailer for Demonic, the supernatural horror film about a diabolical entity featuring Neill Blomkamp, the director of District 9 and Elysium.
Produced by STABILITi Studios and AGC Studios, the film will debut in U.S. theaters on August 20, 2021 with IFC Midnight.
In Demonic, the story's protagonist is a young woman who unleashes the fury of terrifying demons when the supernatural forces behind a decades-long war between mother and daughter are ruthlessly revealed.
The cast includes Carly Pope (Hard Rush), Nathalie Boltt (District 9), Chris William Martin (Aliens vs. Predator 2), Michael Rogers (Elysium) and Andrea Agur (Chained).
Miguel Palos Jr, Alastair Burlingham, Charlie Dombek, Viktor Muller and Steven St. Arnaud are the executive producers of Demonic.
The screenplay, on the other hand, is by Neill Blomkamp himself. The latter recently stated that he is working on the screenplay for District 10, the sequel to District 9, along with Sharlto Copley and Terri Tatchell.
