After various problems (including the recasting of the main actress) slowed down the making of the horror film Deimosimine (USA - 2016), today it was announced that the film will be completed soon and will see the light of day (VOD, Blu-ray/DVD) by 2017. In addition, LC Films has just released a new trailer and some stills, which we attach to the article.
Written and produced by Andrew Thompson and directed by Chad Armstrong (Mortality), Deimosimine features a heroin addict struggling with an experimental drug.
Plot: Cindy is taking "Deimosimine," an experimental drug for the treatment of drug addiction. This substance is designed to induce negative reactions toward drugs in drug users. The effects on Cindy, however, will be different because it will lead her into a horror world that resides in her subconscious, where monsters, demons and death dwell.
In the cast: Cassidy Balkcom, Alex Zuko, Leah Hedspeth, Scott David, Tom Hagale, Richard Chandler (Witch Hunt), Portia Chellelynn and Jim O'Rear (Don't Look In The Basement 2).
