According to what was revealed by HollywoodEporter, Luca Guadagnino is in talks to direct the remake of Deep red (1975), a masterpiece of Italian cinema by Dario Argento.
Known for directing the remake/homage of the cult Argento's film Suspiria in 2018, Luca Guadagnino is determined to dive into this new project to once again pay homage to the Master of horror, who will appear in the crew as a producer.
The director himself apparently confirmed this just yesterday in an interview rilasciata al sopracitato magazine e in cui ha parlato di una produzione Studio Canal e di riprese che inizieranno quest'estate.
Nessuna conferma ufficiale sul cast a parte la possibile presenza di Gale Gadot (Wonder Woman). L'attrice infatti potrebbe interpretare la giovane giornalista Gianna Brezzi, ruolo affidato a Daria Nicolodi nel film di Dario Argento.
