According to what was revealed by HollywoodEporter, Luca Guadagnino is in talks to direct the remake of Deep red (1975), a masterpiece of Italian cinema by Dario Argento.
Known for directing the remake/homage of the cult Argento's film Suspiria in 2018, Luca Guadagnino is determined to dive into this new project to once again pay homage to the Master of horror, who will appear in the crew as a producer.
The director himself apparently confirmed this just yesterday in an interview released to the aforementioned magazine and in which he talked about a Studio Canal production and filming starting this summer.
No official confirmation on the cast other than the possible presence of Gale Gadot (Wonder Woman). In fact, the actress could play the young journalist Gianna Brezzi, a role given to Daria Nicolodi in Dario Argento's film.
