Shudder has shared the poster and trailer for. Death Valley (Canada - 2021), the fantasy-horror written and directed by Matthew Ninaber, the director of Psycho Goreman.
Produced by Chad Archibald, Cody Calahan and Matthew Ninaber, the monster movie Death Valley Will debut on Shudder on December 9, 2021.
The film stars the director's brother, Jeremy Ninaber, who is joined in the cast by Kristen Kaster (If I Should Die), Melissa Joy Boerger, Ethan Mitchell, Matt Daciw (Transference: Escape the Dark), Justin Moses, and, in the role of the monster, Matthew Ninaber himself.
Plot: A secret experiment fails and Dr. Chloe (Kristen Kaster) becomes trapped inside a secret underground laboratory. Before a decontamination protocol destroys the entire facility and a terrifying creature of unknown origin kills her, she sends out an emergency signal.
Alerted by the distress signal, mercenaries Marshall and Beckett are tasked with rescuing the scientist, but the mission will not be easy as they find themselves embroiled in a horrific struggle for survival.
