It will be premiered on June 20 Dead Rising: Endgame, the film inspired by the famous survival horror video game series Dead Rising by Capcom. The feature film is directed by Pat Williams (Deep Evil) while the screenplay involves Tim Carter and Michael Ferris.
The story takes place in an area of East Mission City that is quarantined because it is infested with 
living dead. Here investigative journalist Chase Carter (Jesse Metcalfe) will try to stop a secret government conspiracy whose goal is not to end the zombie epidemic but to exterminate millions of living beings.
The cast includes Billy Zane, Jesse Metcalfe, Keegan Connor Tracy, Jessica Harmon , Dennis Haysbert, Marie Avgeropoulos, Ian Tracey, Patrick Sabongui, Heather Roop, and Stephen Lobo.
Dead Rising: Endgame is produced by Digital Media and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
In 2015 Zach Lipovsky directed Dead Rising: Watchover, also inspired by the aforementioned video game saga.
