As reported by the Twitter post, Jason Blum's Blumhouse and James Wan's Atomic Monster are collaborating with Behaviour Interactive to make the film adaptation of Dead by Daylight, asymmetric multiplayer horror video game.

Launched in 2016, Dead by Daylight is a survival horror video game in which matches are composed of two asymmetrical teams, the survivor team and the killer team.
The first consists of 4 components, while the second includes only the assassin. Both sides must achieve goals in order to win the game.

Stephen Mulrooney, executive vice president of Behavior Interactive, revealed, "We couldn't be more excited to work with Jason Blum and James Wan, two horror giants, to expand the universe of Dead by Daylight. Our goal is to create something unique. Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are the ideal partners to bring the killers of Dead by Daylight on the big screen“.

James Wan, Jason Blum and Stephen Mulrooney appear in the film's production. Remi Racine of Behavior Interactive, Ryan Turek of Blumhouse, Michael Clear and Judson Scott of Atomic Monster, and Russell Binder of Striker Entertainment instead serve as executive producers.

The companies are currently looking for a director and a screenwriter.
