It will debut in U.S. theaters on May 12. Dead Awake (USA - 2016), the horror film about nocturnal paralysis that we presented to you last September (link to news story). The film will also be available on demand also from that date, and two clips have been released to mark the occasion. Dead Awake is directed by Phillip Guzman (200 Hours) while the screenplay is by Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the franchise's Final Destination.
Plot: Kate (Jocelin Donahue) is investigating a series of strange deaths in which victims lose their lives in their sleep. As she continues her research and gets closer and closer to the truth, she will end up having to defend her own life and the lives of her loved ones from an ancient evil that causes sleep paralysis to sow pain and death.
In the cast: Jocelin Donahue (The House of the Devil), Lori Petty (Masters of Horror), Brea Grant (Worry Dolls), Jesse Bradford, James Eckhouse, Jesse Borrego, Liz Mikel, Jeffrey Reddick, Mona Lee Fultz, Billy Blair, Chelsea Morgensen, and Derek Lee Nixon.
