My Little Sister is the horror slasher written and directed by Maurizio and Roberto del Piccolo (Moviedel Productions), the Italian duo who have been responsible for directing other films in the genre such as The Hounds in 2011 and Evil Souls 2015.
Winner of the Golden Bat as Best Italian Feature Film at the 2016 Fantafestival, My Little Sister is one of the films in competition at the DarkVeins Horror Fest.
Plot: Igor's childhood is marked by the loss of his father during an accident caused by his younger sister Erika. Growing up isolated from the world and anchored in his grief, he will try to put a new face on his past to put his life back in order.
In the cast: Saverio Percudani, Holli Dillon (Evil Souls), David White (Zombie Massacre, Beautiful People), Mattia Rosellini, Sofia Pauly (The Blind King), Lucia Castellano, Alberto Corba, Stefano Bertolutti, Ambra Milo, Antonio Pauletta and Astrid Di Bon.
Tommaso Borgstrom (The Hounds and Evil Souls) is the director of photography while Emiliano Larocca Conte handled the film's soundtrack.
Chiara Mechanicdoll Mariani, on the other hand, was in charge of special make-up effects.
