We publish below the winners of the DarkVeins Horror Fest 2020 which is now in its fourth year.

The winner of the "Best Feature Film" category is. Bad Candy (USA - 2020), the Halloween-themed horror film by Scott Hansen and Desiree Connell.
Instead, this edition wins as "Best Short Film" and "Best Original Soundtrack" (Pilotpriest) the horror short film Snake Dick (USA - 2020) by David Mahmoudieh.
Finally, the "Best Trailer" award goes to. Satan's Zombies (USA - 2019) by Jared Tipton.
The winners of DarkVeins Horror Fest 2020:
BEST FEATURE FILM: Bad Candy
Directed by Scott Hansen (The Possession Experiment) and Desiree Connell, Bad Candy is a fun horror film about Halloween in which there is no shortage of violence, monsters and a dash of irony. The story takes place in the small town of New Salem, a place where a young girl has the power to give life to everything she draws by wreaking havoc.
Bad Candy boasts the presence in the cast of Zach Galligan (Gremlins, The Chair) and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. The two play radio DJs in the episode frame to which all the stories of the various characters are connected.
Desiree Connell also appears on the film crew as producer and screenwriter while Derek Russo, Ryan Kiser, Kenneth Trujillo, Mike Milligan, Haley Nicole Leary, Bill Pacer and Alexandra Lucchesi complete the cast.
Photography is by Scott B. Hansen and Blake Studwell while the soundtrack is by Chris Dudley.
Wayne Anderson, on the other hand, handled the special effects.
Plot: radio DJs Chilly Billy (Corey Taylor) and Paul (Zach Galligan) spend Halloween night telling their radio listeners the terrifying stories that have occurred over the years on October 31 in the New Salem community. Stories in which children and adults have been slaughtered at the hands of murderers, demons, entities and zombies, all under the leadership of a diabolical Halloween-loving clown.
BEST SHORT FILM and BEST ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK:
Snake Dick
David Mahmoudieh writes and directs Snake Dick, a short horror film in which two seemingly fragile girls ready to defeat evil will also be able to defend themselves against two shady figures.
Plot: Jill has the snake. Julia has the flute. Alone they have nothing but together they have a secret weapon to fight the darkness.
In the cast: Poppy Drayton (Unhallowed Ground), Sierra Pond, Micah Fitzgerald (Bastard) and Ross Francis.
The soundtrack of Snake Dick, winner of the "Best Original Soundtrack" award, is by Anthony Scott Burns, the director of Our House (2018). The latter is known in music circles under the stage name Pilotpriest.
