We reveal below the Official Selections for the category BEST EXTREME of DarkVeins Horror Fest 2018. Of the many films entered in this second edition of the Festival, the following short horror films were chosen: Donor, Avulsion and Like Every Morning.

Avulsion (Australia - 2017) written and directed by Steven Boyle.
The special effects are by Steven Boyle Studio, a company that has done the FX for such films as "Predestination," "Daybreakers," "Jungle," "Guardians of The Tomb," and recently for "Winchester."
Plot of Avulsion: a man reaches out to an escort who, endowed with an unusual gift, will allow him to vent all his strangest and deepest fantasies on her.

The French short film Like Every Morning (aka Comme tous les matins) is produced, written and directed by Cédric Dupuis.
This short film lasting about 18 minutes features a man drowned in the monotony of his daily routine. The story of Like Every Morning (France - 2018) is indeed a mirror of a flat life in which boredom, despair and madness converge.
