We publish below the winners of the first edition of the DarkVeins Horror Fest 2017. In this its first edition, the Festival recorded about 170 submissions (including features, shorts, soundtracks and trailers), works received from all over the world (Peru, Norway, USA, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Australia, Sweden, UK, Canada, Belgium...).
Of the 170 works in the competition, 53 were selected for the Semi-final while in the Official Selections 23 titles have returned.

AWARDS:
- Reimbursement of entry fees for winning films in major categories ("Best Feature Film," "Best Short Film," "Best Extreme Feature Film," and "Best Extreme Short Film");
- Personal invitation for free registration to theOptical Theatre Festival 2017 (by November 5).
PROJECTIONS:
- The winning films of the DarkVeins Horror Fest will be screened during the The Optical Theatre Festival on November 30, December 1 and 2 at the former Filangieri kindergarten in Naples (free admission).
- The best Official Selections of the DarkVeins Horror Fest will be screened on December 21, 22 and 23 in the "Bigauda Lime Tree Hall" in Camporosso, province of Imperia (free admission).
