As of Monday, October 23, 2017 official selections for the 2017 edition of the DarkVeins Horror Fest. The titles of the best works, as well as the names of the protagonists of the films in this first edition, will be announced in stages on DarkVeins.com and, in a single article, also on iHORRORdb.com (in English).
The chosen works, now in the finals, will be evaluated by the DarkVeins Editorial Board.
In this its first edition of the DarkVeins Horror Fest about 170 works (including features, shorts, soundtracks and trailers) were received by us from all over the world. Selecting the best ones was a very difficult job for us indeed, often the result of bitter choices consequent hard decision-making battles.
Of these 170 works, 53 were selected for the Semi-Final, and starting October 23, the selections will be made official.
The nominations we are going to announce from the day of Monday, October 23 are the result of our team's commitment, sacrifice and dedication, but above all, they are our contribution to the kind of horror cinematography we believe in.
We are confident that we have chosen the best of them all and made the right conclusions.
