Sono appena terminate le pubblicazioni relative alle Selezioni Ufficiali per l'edizione 2017 del DarkVeins Horror Fest.
In questa sua prima edizione, il festival ha registrato circa 170 submission (tra lungometraggi, corti, colonne sonore e trailer), opere pervenute da ogni parte del mondo (Perù, Norvegia, Spagna, Italia, USA, Scozia, Australia, UK, Svezia, Canada, Belgio...).
Of the 170 works in the competition, 53 were selected for the Semi-Final while only 23 made it into the Official Selections.
The titles of the winning films will be announced on October 31. The best works will automatically fall among the Official Selections of the prestigious The Optical Theatre Festival with projections on November 30, December 1 and 2 all'ex asilo Filangieri a Napoli (ingresso gratuito). Saranno presto annunciate ulteriori proiezioni per gli altri film nominati.
Four are the feature films for the "Best Feature Film" category while three fall into the "Best Extreme Film" category. Ten, on the other hand, are the short films selected for the "Best Short Film" and "Best Extreme Short" categories.
