A new monster never before seen in film and belonging to American folklore will appear in the film.
Dark Was the Night is inspired by strange phenomena that occurred in England in 1855 and were known as "The Devil's Footprints." During the night of that year, after a very heavy snowfall, footprints attributable to goat's hooves, and therefore referred to as "Devil's Footprints," appeared over an area of about 100 miles.
