Features works: personal photos in which the face is always visible. No to vulgarity and exposure of intimate areas.
Certification: at least one of the photos in the album must certify the participant by displaying the name DarkVeins on a blank sheet of paper, on the body, or in any medium. Photos displaying the DarkVeins name digitally or with graphic retouching will not be validated.

Upload your dark, gothic, metal or horror photos to DarkVeins and have them voted by other users for a chance to be among the 5 finalists whose works will be evaluated by Cadaveria and Louis Pastor.
DarkVeins will select the finalists based on a secret algorithm that will evaluate:
- number of votes;
- score;
- visualizations;
- number of photos.

* If the models are minors, participation in the contest is EXPRESSLY AND UNCONTINUITELY ADMITTED to the fact that their parents, legal guardians or anyone else exercising parental authority have been notified in due time and have given their approval: each model, by participating in the initiative, accepts these regulations and assumes all responsibility for the lawfulness of the use of the submitted photo, relieving DarkVeins.com of any control function, moreover impossible, in this regard. Any form of complaint by the mentioned subjects, at any time or by whatever means it is submitted, WILL NOT, THEREFORE, BE CONSIDERED.
** The photographic service as a prize to the winners is basic, that is, it is understood to be net of any professional figures complementary to those of the photographer. Should the model wish to take advantage of services such as make-up, clothing, hair stylist and nail artist, she will only have to pay for these additional services.
There is no reimbursement for travel expenses.

Each author is personally responsible for what forms the subject of the images.
By participating in the contest and submitting images, the author represents and warrants that the content of the material uploaded to the site is original and that the same does not violate copyrights and/or related rights and/or commercial exploitation rights and/or industrial and intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
In addition, by participating in the contest and sending the images, the author declares that he/she is in possession of the necessary permissions from any subjects depicted in the images.
With the submission of the material finally, the author authorizes the portal DarkVeins.com to freely use, publish online and make the material available to the public, even after the final term of this contest.
The files of the works will not be deleted, they will remain the property of the portal DarkVeins.com, which reserves the right to publish and use the received photos free of charge within the scope of the site.
Each author, by participating in the initiative, accepts these rules and assumes all responsibility for the lawfulness of the use of the submitted photo, relieving DarkVeins.com from any control function, moreover impossible, in this regard.
In accordance with the provisions of Law 675 / 96 (Privacy), participation in the contest implies, on the part of the Author, authorization for the processing, by computer or other means, of personal data and their use by the organizing club.
