Episodic film for Japanese TV made by some of Japan's best directors: Masayuki Ochiai (Parasite Eve, Shutter), Takashi Shimizu (the creator of the series Ju-On/The Grudge), Norio Tsuruta (Ring 0: Birthday, Premonition and the episode Blood Cruise of the series Masters of Horror) e Kôji Shiraishi (Noroi The Curse, Grotesque).
Uneven quality, but enjoyable and varied stories capable of intriguing and entertaining the viewer until the end.
Each story has its own strengths and weaknesses:
Spider Woman: nice special effects, good story and some good moments, but below average acting;
Slots: unique setting, two actors doing well, good premise, but flat, linear story, particularly predictable;
The Sacrifice: interesting plot, many facts entangled not in a chaotic way that will only unravel in the final bars, but excessive narrative slowness and passivity in the performance of the protagonist;
Blond Specter: funny parody of J-horror, may or may not like it;
Intro: Good story, technically well done, good acting and interesting morals, but a bit predictable and lacking in originality.
Good boredom-busting.
