Prodotto da Stephenie Meyer, autrice della saga di "Twilight", Dark Hall (USA - 2018) is the film adaptation of the best-selling children's book of the same name by American author Lois Duncan.
The protagonist of the story is Kit Gordy (AnnaSophia Robb), a troubled girl who is sent to the prestigious Blackwood, an alternative to prison. Exploring the corridors of the academy with the other students, she discovers that the facility, run by the eccentric headmistress Madame Duret (Uma Thurman), is actually hiding something sinister. Terrifying paranormal phenomena soon begin to manifest themselves within the school walls.
