On the occasion of the Italian release, the Italian trailer and poster for Dark Hall (aka Down a Dark Hall), the supernatural horror film starring the famous Uma Thurman. Directed by Rodrigo Cortés (Buried - Buried, Red Lights), Dark Hall (USA - 2018) arriverà nelle sale italiane il 1° agosto 2018 distribuito da Eagle Pictures in collaborazione con Leone Film Group.
The film is the cinematic adaptation of the best-selling children's book of the same name (published by Mondadori and available in bookstores from July 3) by American author Lois Duncan.
Trama: la giovane e problematica Kit Gordy (AnnaSophia Robb) viene mandata nella prestigiosa Blackwood Boarding School. Esplorando i corridoi dell'accademia con le altre studentesse, la ragazza scoprirà che la struttura gestita dall'eccentrica direttrice Madame Duret (Uma Thurman) nasconde qualcosa di malvagio. Terrificanti fenomeni paranormali infatti non tarderanno a manifestarsi fra le mura di Blackwood.
Among the producers of Dark Hall There are Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series of novels, and Meghan Hibbett, both from Fickle Fish Films. They are joined by Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen from Temple Hill Entertainment.
The cast includes AnnaSophia Robb, Uma Thurman (The House that Jack Built), Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan), Taylor Russell, Kirsty Mitchell, Rebecca Front, David Elliot, Rosie Day, Jim Sturgeon, Noah Silver, and Victoria Moroles.
The screenplay for the film was written by Michael Goldbach and Chris Sparling (Buried, ATM).
