According to reports in adnkronos.com, Italian master of horror Dario Argento has announced that in a few months he will be working on two new horror projects, signaling his return behind the camera. One of the two films in question is expected to be the long-awaited The Sandman, postponed several times due to problems during the production phase.
Questo è quanto il celebre regista romano ha dichiarato in occasione dell'inaugurazione della mostra d'arte "Tagli di luce" del fotografo Franco Bellomo, durante la quale sono state presentate decine di foto di scena scattate sui set dei film argentiani più noti dando maggiore spazio al capolavoro Suspiria, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of his film debut.
La mostra che omaggia Dario Argento, è stata inaugurata il 15 marzo presso la Galleria Spazio Cima (via Ombrone 9, Roma) e sarà visitabile sino al 22 marzo (dalle ore 15:30 alle 19:30). L'esposizione abbraccia foto storiche e inedite di Deep red (1975), Suspiria (1977), Inferno (1980), Darkness (1982), Phenomena (1985), The third mother (2007).
All'inaugurazione ha partecipato anche Antonio Tentori, sceneggiatore e collaboratore di Dario Argento.
Franco Bellomo is a renowned Italian photographer who has also collaborated with Monicelli, De Sica, Fellini, and Antonioni.
