Swiss Army Man, the black comedy written and directed by newcomers Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, divided public opinion at its premiere held on Jan. 22 at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. It is a black comedy, a "farting zombie comedy" or, as defined by the two directors known as Daniels, a "fart drama." The funny but also deviant story features a petomaniac zombie played by the well-known Daniel Radcliffe.
Variety reports that during the screening of the film, many people left the festival either because they were disgusted or because they were convinced it was a joke.
Abstract: A boy (Paul Dano) finds a zombie suffering from flatulence on the beach. A great friendship will develop between the two.
In addition to Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe, the cast also includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Timothy Eulich, Richard Gross, Marika Casteel, Antonia Ribero
