Cub (Welp), the Belgian horror film we talked about a few months ago, will land in Italian theaters with the title Cub - Small Prey from November 27, 2014 thanks to Notorious Pictures.

In the past, director Jonas Govaerts has worked on TV series and short films (Forever, Mobius) e Cub represents his first feature film for which he also co-wrote the screenplay with Roel Mondelaers. Also Cub (2014 - Belgium) had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The protagonist of the story is Sam (Maurice Luijten) a very introverted 12-year-old boy who reaches summer scout camp with his peers.
Sam is gifted with a vivid imagination and has always been isolated from his companions. When he informs his friends that he has seen a strange creature roaming in the woods, they mock him, convinced that it is their stories told around the campfire that have influenced him. In reality, a dangerous masked, wild-looking boy is roaming those woods. Unfortunately, the young group is not only targeted by him.
The cast of Cub - Small Prey consists of Maurice Luijten, Titus De Voogdt, Stef Aerts, Evelien Bosmans and Jan Hammenecker.
