According to the announcement by BloodyDisgusting, the troubled reboot project of the The Raven is once again on its feet. In fact, for about a decade there has been nothing but talk about the new The Crow and, after years of stalling, searching for a director and lead actor, production of the film had been suspended in 2018.
Recall that several directors were announced and then backed out. Among them were Stephen Norrington (Blade), Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later), F. Javier Gutiérrez (Tres dÃas), Corin Hardy (The Hallow), and actor Jason Momoa (Aquaman) who was to play Eric Draven.
Now, after a nearly two-year stall, the reboot of the legendary cursed film directed by Alex Proyas in 1994 and starring Brandon Lee is back in development thanks to Sony.
No other details about crew and cast are currently known.
Played by Brandon Lee, The Raven (1994) by Alex Proyas is based on the comic book of the same name by James O'Barr and tells the story of Eric Draven, a musician who returns to the world of the living to avenge his own death and that of his girlfriend.
