Last August. was announced Crepitus, the horror project featuring American actor Bill Moseley as a cannibal clown. After months of silence, a red band trailer and poster are popping up for the film whose shooting has just finished. Plot: An alcoholic and abusive mother certainly does not make life rosy for daughters Elizabeth and Sam. For the two young girls, the situation gets even worse when the woman decides to move into her deceased grandfather's house. Here the two minors will learn terrible secrets about their family but not only. Unfortunately, they will also come face to face with Crepitus, a dangerous cannibalistic clown who lives in that dwelling....
The cast includes Bill Moseley, Eve Mauro, Chatlet Brannan, Caitlin Williams, Jackey Hall, Raiden Moore, Mike Hard, Darren Barcomb (Krampus: The Devil Returns), Johnny Stevenson (Krampus: The Devil Returns), and Lance Paul. The latter also produced the film through his company Ginger Knight Entertainment.
Among the most notable roles played by Bill Moseley, now considered a true horror icon, is certainly that of Chop-Top Sawyer in Don't open that door 2 (1986) by Tobe Hooper and that of Otis in the The house of 1000 bodies and The House of the Devil (2005) by Rob Zombie.
