The Orchard has released the first official trailer for Creep 2, the found footage horror film directed by Patrick Brice who co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Duplass. The latter also appears in the cast as serial killer Aaron. Creep 2 is the sequel to Creep (directed by Brice himself in 2014) and will be released directly for video on demand on October 24, 2017 with The Orchard.
The protagonist of the story is Sara (Desiree Akhavan), a girl whose goal is to meet lonely men in order to interview them and publish their stories online. The girl also decides to reach out to a man who claims to be a murderer. Convinced that she has an unmissable opportunity, Sara decides to spend a day with him. The time spent with the stranger in his isolated house will make her realize that she has walked into a deadly trap.
The cast includes: Desiree Akhavan, Mark Duplass (Creep), Karan Soni, Patrick Brice, Caveh Zahedi, Kyle Field and Jeff Man.
The film is produced by Blumhouse Productions (Get Out, Paranormal Activity, Sinister, The Purge, Insidious).
