The film marks Pierce Berolzheimer's directing and screenwriting debut.

Plot: After coming into contact with nuclear waste, a horde of mutant crabs hungry for human flesh reaches a small California town on the very night of the prom. As the deadly aquatic crustaceans make their way through people, a group of students aided by the police will try to find a solution to the threat.
In the cast of Crabs Dylan Riley Snyder, Robert Craighead, Jessica Morris, Allie Jennings, Bryce Durfee, Justen Overlander, and Chase Padgett are featured.
