The horror film Countdown (USA - 2019) will be available on DVD and in a COMBO edition (with double-disc Blu-ray +DVD) starting March 12 thanks to Eagle Pictures. The Home Video edition will contain a soft touch card and a collectible illustrated postcard.
Written and directed by Justin Dec, Countdown is a state-of-the-art horror film about a deadly smartphone app that will trigger a diabolical game among its victims. The film has been billed as a cross between The Ring and Final Destination adding a touch of modernity and technology.
Plot: Quinn (Elizabeth Lail) is a young nurse struggling with the dreaded "Countdown," a new app that is impossible to uninstall and can reveal, to those who download it, the exact moment of death. As the hours pass and the end draws near, Quinn and her friends will have to find a way to save themselves before it is too late.
