On the occasion of the anniversary of William Shakspeare's birthday, which falls today (April 23), Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni and Mariano Baino announced the production of their new project. It is about. Lady M 5.1, an obscure short film dedicated to Lady Macbeth, one of the characters in Shakespeare's tragedy.
Specifically, the short film will be a film adaptation of Lady Macbeth's monologue (act 5, scene 1) to be performed by Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni (Demons 2, Opera, The Woods1, Ghost Son). In Lady M 5.1, the protagonist will experience one of her most tragic moments, wrapped in the surrealism of the setting populated by fantastic creatures.
It will be directed by Mariano Baino, a director best known for directing the 1993 horror film Dark Waters (Temnye vody) and some short films such as Caruncula and The Trinity of Darkness, filmed between 1991 and 2014.
Lady M 5.1 is produced by Astrid's Saints LLC, owned by Baino and Cataldi-Tassoni themselves, in association with Cherry Bar Films LLC. Tassoni will also handle the soundtrack by writing the original music. Editing will be by Baino.
