After the poster (here the article), the first trailer for the body horror Contracted: Phase IIÂ (USA - 2015), a sequel to the film directed by Eric England in 2013. The second installment devoted to the mysterious sexually transmitted virus, which not only causes necrosis of the body but also transforms the infected person into a being hungry for human flesh, is directed by Josh Forbes for a screenplay by Craig Walendziak. Contracted: Phase II will be released on Sept. 4 through IFC Midnight.
The story of this second chapter parallels the first. Riley, the friend of Samantha (the protagonist of Contracted), witnesses his physical decay due to the virus. The infected begin to multiply, and Riley will try to discover the cause of the strange disease before it is too late.
The cast includes Matt Mercer, Alice Macdonald, Peter Cilella, Marianna Palka, Morgan Peter Brown, Adam Robitel, Marianna Palka, Laurel Vail, Alice Macdonald, Anna Lore, and Suzanne Voss.
