There is a kind of continuity between the two films. The virus sexually transmitted to Samantha in the first chapter spreads, turning the new victims into zombies. Riley, the only boy who has been in contact with Samantha, begins to witness the decomposition of his own body. Before it is too late for him but also for humankind, the young man will try to track down those responsible for triggering the strange degenerative disease.
Matt Mercer (Contracted) returns to the role of Riley. He is joined by Alice Macdonald, Peter Cilella, Marianna Palka, Morgan Peter Brown, Adam Robitel, Marianna Palka, Laurel Vail, Alice Macdonald, Anna Lore, and Suzanne Voss.
The distribution date of Contracted: Phase II (USA - 2015) is set for September 4 for both U.S. theaters and VOD.
