Dark Sky Films has shared the official trailer for Coming Home in The Dark (New Zealand - 2021), the brutal and violent thriller featuring actor James Ashcroft, here directing his first feature film.
World premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Coming Home in The Dark will debut in US theaters and on VOD platforms on October 1, 2021.
The story features a teacher who will be forced to confront his past when two ruthless vagrants drag him and his family on an interminable journey from hell.
The cast includes Daniel Gillies (Captivity), Erik Thomson, Miriama McDowell, Matthias Luafutu, Billy Paratene, Frankie Paratene, Desray Armstrong, and Alan Palmer.
The director, James Ashcroft, has appeared in the cast of several horror comedies including. Black Sheep - Killer Sheep, Horror Movie and Fresh Meat.
