Online the first clips of Cocainorso (aka Cocaine Bear), the dark comedy written by Jimmy Warden (The Babysitter: Killer Queen) and directed by Elizabeth Banks (Charlie's Angels).
Distributed by Universal Pictures, the film will debut in Italian theaters on April 27, 2023.

Cocainorso is inspired by the true story of a brown bear who ingested a lethal 30 kilogram dose of cocaine in the Kentucky forest in 1985. The drugs belonged to a drug trafficker who had crashed his plane. Three months later, not far from the crash, he was found lifeless, surrounded by 40 torn plastic packages that contained traces of cocaine.
The animal's corpse was auctioned and sold. It is currently displayed in a shopping center north of the city of Lexington.

In Cocainorso, Elizabeth Banks tries to imagine what happened to the huge predator before his death by overdose, reconstructing his drug-altered state, while a group consisting of policemen, criminals, tourists and teenagers hunt him down.

The cast includes Keri Russell, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Alden Ehrenreich, Matthew Rhys, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, Christian Convery, Brooklynn Prince, Margo Martindale, and Ray Liotta.
