As of today, November 20, on the official websites. TetroVideo and Goredrome pre-order of the brutal extreme horror is now active The Chrysalis (here our world premiere review), the prequel to Larva Mental by Mikel Balerdi (The Girl with the Cutter/Golgotha).
The film will be available in the limited edition Mediabook with DVD, 20-page Booklet and a T-shirt and magnet will also be available for purchase.
Directed and performed by the director himself, The Chrysalis (2023) is a TetroVideo exclusive and has been billed as a more "scandalous and psychological" film than Larva Mental.
In The Chrysalis, the director plays John, an unstable man who undergoes psychotherapy sessions to exorcise the evil he has inflicted on his wife (Xochitl Espinoza) and himself for years but what we will witness is only his mental decline. Through flashbacks, the man opens the door to his soul, letting the horror that lurks inside him shine through increasingly twisted actions and thoughts.
The cast includes Mikel Balerdi, Xochitl Espinoza and Traian DC.
