A promo video for Chilling Visions: 5 States of Fear, the horror anthology inspired by states of fear that will have its premiere next July 11 on the Chiller TV channel. This choral horror, distributed by London-based agency Chiller Films, consists of five short films directed by as many directors in different locations (five American states).
The titles of the short films, translated into Italian as "Fear of Ego Death," "Fear of Separation," "Fear of Mutilation," "Fear of Extinction," and "Fear of Loss of Autonomy," are quite strong but at the same time instill much interest.
Let's take a look at the original titles and artistic cast of the individual shorts that make up Chilling Visions: 5 States of Fear:
- Sandy - Fear of Ego Death, written and directed by Brett Simmons. The director himself was in charge of production along with Andrew Ducote and Kellen Moore (Brett Simmons Productions);
- The Trouble With Dad - Fear of Separation, directed by Glenn McQuaid and written by Glenn McQuaid and Clay McLeod Chapman. Producers: Larry Fessenden and Jennifer Wexler (Glass Eye Pix).
- Tick Warning - Fear of Mutilation, written and directed by John Poliquin, produced by Dan De Filippo and Dave Marken (Pipeline Entertainment).
- Ghost Daughter - Fear of Extinction, written and directed by Zao Wang. The director handled the production in collaboration with Andrew K. Li for Chilling Coastline, LLC.
- The Caregiver - Fear of Loss of Autonomy., written and directed by Graham Reznick. The names of Larry Fessenden and Jennifer Wexler (Glass Eye Pix) appear in the production.
In 2013 it was the turn of Chilling visions: 5 Senses of Fear, a horror anthology consisting of five short films directed by six different directors.
One of the short films, Taste, is directed by Eric England, an American director whom DarkVeins had the pleasure of interviewing on the occasion of the release of his macabre feature film Contracted.
