As already mentioned in the previous article, producer Lucas Foster and director Kurt Wimmer were able to continue filming the Children of the Corn despite lockdown measures imposed in Australia in March. According to reports today from Variety, filming has ended and thehe cast also includes Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer (Our House), Callan Mulvey (Too Old To Die Young) and Bruce Spence (The Widow Winchester).
Children of the Corn depicts the events that led to the massacre of adults in a small Nebraska town at the hands of their children, after their irresponsibility ruined the crops and the children's futures. Producer Lucas Foster also revealed that the new film has "almost nothing to do" with the original 1984 classic.
