New trailer for Chemical Peel (USA - 2014), the horror film directed by H.R. Braxtan. Dan Sinclair handled the story and also the screenplay, while 17 Road handled production.
The film is described as a kind of cross between The Mist and The Descent, but watching the engaging trailer, in addition to the aforementioned two titles, that of Cabin Fever. It is then impossible not to notice the tasty and rich special effects inherent in the transformation of the protagonists.
The plot is as follows: six friends reach a remote cottage in the woods to spend a quiet and carefree weekend. Something out there, however, attracts their attention and generates fear in them when they experience on their skin the disastrous effects of a mysterious virus spread through the air.
The cast includes Natalie Victoria (Abstraction), Arielle Brachfeld (The Haunting of Whaley House), Stephanie Greco (Hansel & Gretel), Lacy Fisher, Leigh Davis, Lony'e Perrine, and Ruben Pla.
The date for the video-on-demand market and DVD release is set for October 14 next year thanks to Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
The American director is currently involved in another horror project titled Unnatural which is likely to be released in 2015.
