Il regista finlandese Anders Engström (serie TV "Taboo", "Hanna", "See") dirigerà il remake di The Changeling, a horror masterpiece directed by Peter Medak in 1980 and starring Oscar winner George C. Scott. This is reported by Deadline.
The remake is produced by Joel B. Michaels while Tab Murphy wrote the script including several new twists and turns.
Considered one of the most chilling horror films of all time, The Changeling is also one of the best horror films about haunted houses (in this case by the spirit of a child, Joseph).
Plot: following the disappearance of his wife and daughter, musician John Russell (George C. Scott) moves into an old Victorian mansion in suburban Seattle. Here the man will try to devote himself to music but will discover that he is not alone. In fact, the haunted spirit of a murdered dead little boy lurks in the house. John will research the child's identity, bringing back a heartbreaking truth.
