Targeted Sinister Film (for the Horror d'Essai series) and. distributed by CG Entertainment, arrives for home video. Leonor, the horror film directed by French director Juan Luis Buñuel (Au rendez-vous de la mort joyeuse) in 1975. The uncensored film will be available on DVD starting April 20.
Plot: Richard (Michel Piccoli) is a wealthy medieval feudal lord whose wife, Leonor (Liv Ullmann), with whom he is deeply in love, dies tragically. Torn by grief but unable to live without a companion, he marries the young and beautiful Catherine (Ornella Muti). Despite the happy marriage and the years that have passed, however, Richard cannot erase the memory of his first wife, so he asks the Devil to bring her back to life.
In the cast of Leonor (Spain, France, Italy - 1975): Michel Piccoli, Liv Ullmann, Ornella Muti, Antonio Ferrandis, José María Prada, Ángel del Pozo, George Rigaud, José María Caffarel and Carmen Maura.
