Francesco Dellamorte (Rupert Everett) is the cemetery caretaker in the small Italian town of Buffalora with his mentally disabled assistant Gnaghi (François Hadji-Lazaro) for company. For obscure reasons, the dead buried there rise up animated by murderous instincts. To kill them, it is necessary to smash their heads, and for Francis it is just a routine act until one day, among the tombstones, he falls in love with a beautiful widow (Anna Falchi). For the cemetery caretaker it will be the beginning of a descent into pain and madness, among the living dead and the dying living.
In the cast of Cemetery Man there are also François Hadji-Lazaro, Barbara Cupisti, Mickey Knox, and Stefano Masciarelli.
The script of the film is by Gianni Romoli while the special effects are by Sergio Stivaletti. The soundtrack, on the other hand, is by Manuel De Sica.
